Step 1: Login to PowerSell here.
Step 2: Login to Create a new stock item interface
There are 2 options to perform this step:
– Option 1: Click on New icon in the upper right corner and select Stock Item.
– Option 2: From the sidebar menu on the left, click on Inventory:
+ For customers who create inventory products for the first time, at the line Create stock item manually, click Choose.
+ For customers who have created inventories, click on Create Stock Item.
Step 3: Fill out the Item Information and Additional Information fields.
– Item information includes Item name, SKU and Stock, which are 3 mandatory information fields (marked with *) and Barcode.
– Additional information includes Image, Purchase price, Price, Package size and tag (search keywords).
Step 4: Click on Create new stock item.
You can also create new items by taking content from products posted on the platforms.
Step 1: At the Create a new stock item interface, click on Import content from existing listing.
Step 2: A search screen will appear, enter the keyword (SKU/ product name) of an existing listing to search for the listing name and click Search Listing.
Step 3: Click the check box for the product you want to retrieve information and then click Choose to go to the next step or Cancel if you want to cancel the operation.
Step 4: At this time, the system automatically extracts information from the product you have just selected and filled in for the new listing. You only need to fill the missing information for the listing. Then, click Create New Stock Item.
After creating a new product successfully, you can keep or edit the Product Name, SKU and Inventory (if desired) for easy management.
NOTE:
– The Auto generate for SKU Code (or Barcode) allows to create 1 SKU (or barcode) randomly including 8 (or 12) characters including letters and numbers.
– SKU code and Barcode must be unique for each listing, If the SKU code is duplicated, the software will report an error.
– Inventory number is an integer greater than or equal to 0.
– Product images in the format of jpg, jpeg and png. Capacity allowed below 1MB.
– Cost price and Retail Price can be a 2-digit decimal. Retail Price is used as a reference price when you create new products on e-commerce channels, or sell on S-commerce, POS, … this retail price may differ from the price of each product.
– In Search listing, you can only search for products belong to the shops that have connected to PowerSell.
